At the Pelham Suite, we understand that at this difficult time, organising a venue needs to be as straightforward as possible.
We can offer our unique Ceremony Room for a Civil Funeral Service, and afterwards an area for a funeral reception where you can relax for refreshments in complete privacy.
Our Unique venue based in the centre of Grimsby, offers a private Ceremony Room and dignified setting for that final farewell, with seating for up to 120 people.
We understand that making an event unique to the individual and you are welcome to bring photos and music to help celebrate the life of a loved one.

I’d like to express my thanks for the wonderful way the Pelham Suite, (Cambridge Road) looked after us, when our party and guests went there for refreshments and to share memories of my wife, Deidre, after the service at the Crematorium.
The hospitality, service and decor were all faultless. I appreciated the attention to detail in providing table strips and displays in my wife’s favourite colour. Without demur they acceded to all my requests. In particular, they kindly allowed my daughter to make and bring Deidre’s Apple Snow dessert, a favourite of my wife’s, frequently served when we entertained, and they facilitated a slide show using their overhead projector. They could not have been more accommodating: I am so pleased with our choice of venue.
Universally, comments from guests have been very, very positive, mentioning in particular all the staff’s friendliness and kindness and especially the quality of the food!
I do thank them and wish them every success in the future.
